Binge #16, Weigh in and Ice Age

119

Binge morning weigh in: 87.2kg.

I’m up a little this week. No surprise I guess, I’ve been doing lots of exercises this week, expecting some muscle build-up!

Here’s what I did the last week:

Mon    100x 16kg kettlebell swings, 20x Glute Activators, 15x Flying dogs
Tue     100x 16kg kettlebell swings, 20x Glute Activators, 15x Flying dogs, 10 myotatic crunches
Wed    100x 16kg kettlebell swings, 20x Glute Activators, 15x Flying dogs, 10 myotatic crunches
Thur     Rest
Fri         Hill Climb, 3km route
Sat       100x 16kg kettlebell swings, 20x Glute Activators, 15x Flying dogs, 10 myotatic crunches
Sun      (today) Rest

Halfway through the week, I was watching ‘Throwdown with Bobby Flay’ on the food network and the challenge they did involved waffles.

Waffles!

It was then I knew what I needed to have for my cheat day. I had 2 servings..one for lunch, and another for dinner =D

Ice Age Experiment

I actually tried a little bit of it using ice packs on my neck and back, but I found it inconvenient so I stopped. And I’m not gonna take ice baths. Not that I could anyway..I only have showers in this home, no tubs =(

Then I had a brain wave. You know how for cold semi-emergencies, they warm people up by covering them in blankets but have the victims leave their feet in a pail of warm water?

Makes sense doesn’t it? You got water, which draws heat away faster from your body, your feet, which loses quite a bit of body heat and you don’t have to expose your whole body to the cold. I think this makes for a much more comfortable experience.

I’m going to do that starting today, everyday for about 20-30 mins before I go to sleep.

Will report on that soon

Nice Idea with the cold foot bath; add some salt. Ice will melt quicker but will also transfer heat more efficiently. Try adding it 1/2 way through.
